DAY TWO

I woke up this morning feeling rather stiff, I thought of the 20 km run I wanted to do and said not a chance not on these sore muscles. Maybe a 5 km later in the day, yeah good idea.

After breakfast and two cups of coffee I eyed the DVD, well cant put it off any longer so I switched it on and level one sounded. Cue Jillian and we start all over again.

It did go easier this time, especially the butt kicking and jumping jacks, I wore my heart rate monitor this time and wow, I reached up into max 180 bpm. Once the workout was finished I headed out the door, even though I felt stuffed I needed to go for a run.

I found that I was very sluggish, I am running a comfortable 7 1/2 minutes a kay these days but today I battled to get away from 8 mins, in-spite of his I did get a 5 kay run in.

The rest of the day I was taking it easy, quads and calf's are quite tender. So here is looking forward to to tomorrow...day 3 with Jillian.



What says the scale ? 125 kgs which means in total the last three months I have lost 29 kgs or 63.8 pounds.

  1. Mmmm no comment on that and still I was running with one of my runners at session tonight.
