Yes it rained this morning and Anna and I opted to rather try and stay out of the rain to avoid getting sick before the Hullets 25 km. This is Anna's anniversary race, her first race she ever ran was last years Hullets.
So off we go to Malvern Heights which is a large block of flats in Queensburgh, the have an open parking lot which is four stories high and has eight levels all together 800 meters.
So here we are "towing" mind you, and running a parking garage, wow what a strange run, you have a little up hill ever few meters, good hill training as I noticed with my HRM, some peaks into 170 beats per minute there.
Luckily the rain stopped and we were able to run the Queensburgh Harriers time trials in reverse, what a jol, Anna's suffered today as the last part of the that route is up and up and up. She was also introduced to race walk today, we ran for 8 km and race walked for 2 km, her training is coming along but so is Two Oceans, it is creeping closer and closer only 89 days to go.
Did I mention I love running !!
