
Well there it is entry done no the fun will start.....who am I trying to fool, they sent me their check list, very scary !!!

Okay really to be Elite you need to do 70 pushups, 80 situps, 3 rope climbs 45 setups, 30 pole vaults, 18 full chin ups, and do the course in 5:30 then still run 2,4 km in 10:30 IMPOSSIBLE !!!!!!!!!! Oh and the pushups and setups in 2 mins.
I think Alpha looks good right now.

Recruits train in divisions according to their fitness level - or lack thereof!

Recruits work their way up the ranks: Virgin Corps to Alpha Corps to Bravo Corps and leave Basic training at Ranger Corps level. In order to graduate through each rank, recruits must reach the required level of fitness, stamina and willpower. To monitor results recruits are tested on their fitness and strength improvements each month!

Good luck Dave! I must admit that I do 100 situps and 100 pushups 3 times per week after my morning run. That is with some other core exercises. It took me two years to build up to doing this without any effort and just as part of my routine. But I will never sign up for bootcamp!

ReplyDeleteI do some leg work - leg raises- rowing etc and some arm work, as well as some Ball exercises/sitting for Core. We enjoy sitting on the ball with a sundowner.
I remember my 2.4 with rifle etc 12 minutes was almost achievable, I once did a 9:30 in those army canvas running shoes- that was right at the end of chefs training, like 6 months of basics. I still do not like running.
You can keep your boot camp, but I hope you enjoy it.
