IT IS DONE & IT IS GOOD ?

Today I swapped the blue and gold for the navy blue and white. It is true I am no longer a member of the Eskom Gijimas Athletic Club.

As I previously posted my involvement with Run Walk for Life is a reality , I am currently doing my exams and soon I will be opening a branch of Run Walk for Life here in my town of Queensburgh. It is a scary thought but also an exciting thought as well. Doesn't make sense does it.

Well anyway I am hard at work with the studies, found a venue, have one road leader already, received some good contacts thanks to my great friends so the future can only be great.

Last week I spent in Gauteng doing a training course at Run Walk for Life headquarters, I really enjoyed the course and met five other managers in training , three of them for KZN nogal. So We will have new branches in Richards Bay, Nottingham Road and Queensburgh. The other lady is taking over an established branch. Well they say a new broom sweeps clean, here there is sommer four brooms.

So anyway as I said today I resigned from my club, not that I really wanted to, Eskom has been very good to me and their chairman Allan has really being good to me. I will miss those club trips to Two Oceans. So where have I gone to ?

Well of course the only place that would make sense...Run Walk for Life Athletic Club.

  1. At least you won't have anyone chirping you about your allegiance!!! Good luck with all the training.
